Spurts, Blurts, and Smiley Faces
Spurts: We've hit the spit-up phase with Rhegan. She won't stop. No matter how much we burp the poor girl she always spits up..a little, a lot, sometimes in between.
Blurts: Out of Zoe's mouth over the last few days: Pointing out the window of the car as we are driving out of our neighborhood, she cries, "Look Mommy!!! Sea lions!!!" Thinking this was just one of her silly pretending games, I just said "sea lions? I don't see any sea lions!" "No Mommy...LOOK!!! SEA LIONS!!!!!!! RIGHT OVER THERE!!!!!" Didn't think too much of it until later in the day when Evy hands her a dandylion and she says, "Oooooooooh! Thank you so much Evy for the Sea lion!" Too cute. Then tonight as I am tucking her in bed, I was singing to her. Jesus loves me this I know...I get to the part of "We are weak but He is...." and I stop for her to finish the rhyme. She thinks really hard and with all seriousness sings "LONG!"
Smiley faces: Gabe has had two days in a row with all smiley faces at school. This is a very good thing. Thank you Jesus.

Glad to hear an update, cant wait to see that new little one!!!
yes, those pesky "sea lions" (which are entitled "daddy lines" in our house) will be the death of me this summer, i know it... they are picked on a continual basis, being the "beautiful" flowers that they are... and since yellow is my "favorite" color... Oye....
is it a michigan thing or what, because these stinky weeds are EVERYWHERE!!!!
Go Gabe! EXCELLENT!!!
Poor Rhegan... that can't be a lovely sensation... It's a wonder babies don't just give up before regular childhood kicks in... what with the spitting up, sitting in their own doo doo, and the sheer terror of teething...
plus, no one understands a thing they are saying...
