E I E I ... OH!

Ok do any of you watch ER? I have been an ER watcher since it's birth in the early 90's...sad confession, I know. So last Thursday when I was watching it, there was one line that sent me laughing hysterically. I have come up with a phrase to describe this pregnancy. This poor man had ALS on the show and all of the sudden just started bawling, crying uncontrolably. He then says through sobs, "It's the disease...it's so stupid...it will go away in a second...it's called emotional incontinence." Yes ladies and gentlemen, this is what I have decided I have. Emotional incontinence. Yes, it's the pregnancy hormones, but I thought this term suited it much better!!! I am sad, happy, angry, full of love and a myriad of other emotions all at the most random times and they all come on seemingly out of nowhere. So there you go. For the next 8 weeks if I seem out of sorts, don't worry, I am just emotional incontinent. :-)

P.S. this post is in no way intended to make fun of people who may be out there suffering from actual EI or whatever it's official name is. Just thought I would put in that disclaimer.
