Curse you, loud flashy truck!

Remember Finding Nemo...the fish in the tank all have their elaborate plan to escape...Nemo overcame his fear of sticking the marble in the fan and the tank is now nice and dirty. They are all sure that the dentist will bag them up for cleaning the tank. Then they wake up and to their dismay find the tank all sparkly and clean. The dentist has installed a new filter called "aqua scum 3000" or something like that. One of the fish cries "CURSE YOU AQUASCUM!!!!!!" Ok, scum in the fish tank has nothing to do with what I am posting about, but it just explains where my title comes from. When it dumps snow here in Michigan, we in our subdivision thankfully have snow plows that plow our streets for us. Sometimes they even salt the streets. Well, today was no exception. My daughter has named the snow plow the "loud flashy truck" because it has a flashing orange light on top and when it backs up it beeps really loud. After another night of restless pregnancy non-sleep I finally drift off around 5 something AM into a very peaceful rest...and that lasted about 30 seconds. The truck came and in my mind I am screaming "CURSE YOU LOUD FLASHY TRUCK!!! You are waking up my children and me and we do NOT want to be awake yet!!!!!!!!" Oh well, at least the streets are plowed. :-)

I have never in my life been awakened by a snow plow, perhaps this is because i live in California. Our loud flashing truck is the garbage man and the street sweepers but each of thiem is only once a week. Good luck getting some sleep. Perhaps if you moved on to the next Pixar movie you could get some sleep.

At least you have a snowplow for your streets - our "city" doesn't plow our particular street until noon the day after snow stops... Sorry they wake you up!
