Vacation-shmation
*sigh* vacations are so hard to plan last minute! We are trying so hard to get away because we NEED to get away for more than one night and the amount of complications to do so are just...what is a word that means bigger than ginormous? Here's to hoping that something works out!

just for you & matt or a whole family thing? what about the new water park @ cedar pointe? or for cheaper whatabout just a hotel with a nice pool for a couple of days??? what about camping? (are you campers??? some places are already open...)

Seriously, even a hotel that is maybe an hour away would be something away. My mom always took us on vacations to cities where we lived. We stayed in a hotel and visited the places we never did because we lived there. How about Battle Creek??? you could come and see how Frosted flakes and Fruit Loops are made! Cereal City was rated the best kids museum tour in the whole US. And it's only about an hour away!!!
mandi..in theory battle creek is a great idea, but we had done that back when I was pregnant with Zoe and it was the WORST vacation of our life!! Not because of Battle Creek..just because of the circumstances. We rode a train there from Ann Arbor and you can imagine the rest from there...it was insane. So no cereal city for us, but thanks for the good recommendation! :-)
maybe you need to be like What about Bob and take a vacation from your problems. :o)
Or from your kiddos...
or maybe you could swap houses with us for a couple of days and vacation at the Schoeberleins.
OK, so it's not as exciting as house-swapping with someone in Hawaii or England, but it's something. :o)
