A Farewell to Binky
On July 6th, 2006, we said goodbye to Gabe's first pet, Binky the hamster. It appeared as though he keeled over in the middle of his midnight wheel runs. At least he died happy. Gabe was a little veclemt (sp?) but quickly asked with the world's biggest grin, "Does this mean we can get a dog??" I think we may have to wait for Santa for the dog. So goodbye Binky...we will certainly miss the glee you brought the children but we CERTAINLY won't miss your smell. ;-)

Amen on the smell thing....it's very sad to lose a pet. Speaking as someone who has buried two in the last six months :)
awe... poor binky... his heart just couldn't take one more run, eh?
When Gabe asks santa for a puppy, put in a good word for me and how i want one too :)
AWWW! Poor Gabe!! At least he is taking it well!
