Grocery shopping at Christmastime

I was a sight at WalMart. Just try to picture in your head a cart loaded to the hilt with groceries and other sundry items, not to mention the giant 48X72 carpet sqaure rolled up and sticking out the top diagonally like a large cannon. On the one hand, I was completely THRILLED to be out of the house by myself and having some time to myself...getting to go through the new carribou coffee drive through with a large mint mocha in hand... On the other hand, next time I get to get out of mommy land I am hoping for a less chaotic environment! :-) Merry Christmas to all...

Smily Faces

Just a quick post about my wonderful children ;-)

-Zoe lost one of her front top teeth Sunday night. This is the same tooth she knocked around about 6 months ago and then again last Wednesday. It was sitting completely backwards in her mouth until it fell out and I think all in all I am glad it just fell out. It looked so painful. So she will be toothless for like 3 years...poor kid. She has no clue but her mommy's heart broke for her!

-Gabe came home today with all smily faces on his behavior report!! This is a first and a very big accomplishment! Matt let him open one of his christmas presents early as a reward...a k'nex roller coaster. The kid is in heaven.

I have not fallen off the face of the earth...

In fear of my blogging friends strangling me for not posting for so long, I AM POSTING! :-) Seriously, I am sorry it has been so long since the last post. Every day goes by and there is something that I could post, but then time gets away from me and by the time I have time to post, I am exhausted...anyway, you get the point. :-)

Goodness, catching up on many weeks...let's see...

We went to Colorado for Thanksgiving and that was FABULOUS! Yes, we drove, and it was a LONG drive, but very fun taking the road trip. We got to do lots of neat things while there with the kids and my parents including, but not limited to:
-seeing Chicken Little 3D...that was really cool
-seeing Santa: Gabe asked for a PSP and a remote control airplane and Zoe (who did not freak out this year) asked for the "piggies that go down the slide", translation, the baby MacDonald DVD.

-eating cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory...best in the world

-seeing dinosaur bones and mummies and lots of neat things at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science

-Having a great Thanksgiving dinner with my mom and dad

-Gabe getting to see the "real" verizon wireless! :-)

-and last but certainly not least, getting to see my best friend Amanda and her husband and their new baby, Anna

Since we have been home, things have gone into full gear getting ready for Christmas. We are excited to have my parents and my brother and his wife here this year! We still don't know what the baby is yet, but I have another ultrasound tomorrow...so HOPEFULLY.... :-) Gabe's pediatrician asked me the other day how many I had in there, insinuating that I looked bigger than I should be, going on to tell me about a woman at her church who was the same way, had had an ultasound confirming only one baby, then a few weeks later found out that it was really twins! I think it would be awesome, CRAZY, but awesome to have twins. I'm still not getting my hopes up, but I would just like to know what this baby is so we can get going on names!!!!

Zoe turned 3 last Saturday. She is getting so big. I have pictures from that day but not on my computer yet, so you'll just have to wait! :-)

I promise to update more frequently :-) Until then....
